Airport in Rome
Fiumicino and Ciampino to the city.
Fiumicino by train
The Leonardo Express runs non-stop between Fiumicino (FCO) and Termini in about 32 minutes, with a standard fare of about €14 (a separate Trenitalia ticket; city tickets do not cover it). The cheaper regional train (FL1) stops at Trastevere, Ostiense and other stations, and is good for staying outside the centre. Airport taxis have a fixed fare
Official taxis from Fiumicino to inside the Aurelian Walls have a fixed fare of about €55 (check the sign on the cab). Ciampino to the centre has a fixed fare of about €31. Always ask the driver to confirm the fixed price before you start, and ignore drivers who approach you in the arrivals hall.
