DXB to the city by metro
Terminals 1 and 3 have their own Red Line metro stations; Terminal 2 has no metro, but a free shuttle bus links the terminals. Trains reach Downtown (Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall) in roughly 25–35 minutes. Buy a Nol card at the station. Each passenger may take one large and one small suitcase. DXB to the city by taxi
Official taxis wait outside every terminal 24 hours a day. The meter starts at AED 25 from the airport, then roughly AED 2.10–2.40 per km plus AED 4 for each Salik toll gate, so Downtown usually costs around AED 60–90 and the Marina more.
