The Beach at Jumeirah Beach Residence is one of the easiest beach days in Dubai: soft sand, calm water, showers, lifeguards and paid sun loungers, with the Ain Dubai wheel offshore and towers behind.
Behind the sand, The Walk and The Beach mall have dozens of restaurants and cafés, which makes it easy to stay from afternoon swim to dinner.

Insider tips
- In summer, swim early in the morning or after 17:00; the sand gets painfully hot by midday.
- Bring water shoes or sandals and drink plenty of water.
- Public drinking of alcohol on the beach is illegal; licensed beach bars are the place for a drink.
